I found some flat rescue webbing that I think I'm going to use for my tether, lineman's belt and possibly bridge once I get my new saddle. It is rated for 6000 lbs breaking strength or 26.7kN. Tubular webbing is rated for 4000 lbs and I just feel that while the 4000 is good, the 6000 is better. I'm also going to be using these cinch buckles from ansi cobra as they are rated for 18kN to 36kN (the loop).

webbing is orange but so is my gun season vest....https://www.cmcpro.com/equipment/flat-web/

I've walked up on a number of deer while wearing a blaze orange vest and hat - I trust what others have said that deer can't see ( or at least aren't alarmed by ) blaze orange. I doubt you'll be busted in a saddle with a blaze orange tether.
