So my neighbor comes up to me with two packages and says, “ hey man i know you climb trees thought you could use these”. Anybody know what these are and any ideas how they might be useful greatly appreciated!

I think its a leg strap for a ruck when a guy parachutes. He'll drop his ruck before he hits the ground so the weight isn't on his body when he does a PLF.
