Pretty giddy to try these out. Can easily fit them in my day pack. Will be testing and tinkering over the weekend, but already think of adding a one step aider to a few steps. What are some other mods I should be looking at with these?

Check out the various climbing methods. I can get to 40' with six with my multistep aider method. 30' with eight with Red's method or Cain's method...and you can drop the linemans belt with Cain's which really helps with limbs.

Also, Boyne and I are using a hybrid on the Cain method. We are girth hitching the tree with the tether rather than clipping directly to the Stepp. Have fun!

Saw a few of those already ... looks like I’ll need to start doing some crunches LOL

You don't need to be strong for Cain method. Cinch up your tether before you step on the truck of the tree. The radius of the tether will bring you to the waist step level by simply pushing off the tree.

Yup. Not much different than an aider step except with more stability and no chance of kickout.

Who's running steps for a platform too?

I'm still figuring things out, but I'm currently playing with using last/top step as platform and also using a couple (2 or 3) ameristeps in conjunction with WE step which would eliminate the struggle to get 3 WE set up for platform... So far I'm liking this option...
