Yard Glider instead of a jet sled?

I'm curious if anyone has ever tried using a Yard Glider (https://yardglider.com/) instead of a sled to retrieval of big game?

When moose hunting, we usually drag out our animal with an ATV and just drag it behind. I was thinking a glider like this would protect the hide a bit more and slide easier, and the sides could be bungied up and around the animal.

Interesting idea. More expensive that a jet sled but could also be more useful by not having the hard, raised sides of a sled. Looking online, you can buy the material for about 50% the cost of a yard glider and make your own.

I've been looking at these and they are made of UHMW which I deal with a fair amount at work. Maybe I'll try to knock it off first. My main use would be to haul leaves and yard debris off my lot.

One thing I really like about this is that it will store better than a sled or game cart. I could just lay this flat in the bed of my pickup and put my normal gear load on top of it. It won't take up any additional space. My cart or sled eat up a good portion of the truck bed.

Here's a link to 1/8" thick sheets though there's may more vendors online if you look around. For reference: 1/8"=0.125"=about 3mil

That's a good idea....just buy a sheet, cut your own holes and add some brackets up front to attach ropes to! I'll look around to see if there are any Canadian suppliers...shipping bulky stuff across the border is a real pain and can be expensive.
