I’ve been blessed to have my grandson Landon living with me for the past several years. He is learning the things from me that I learned from my dad. I took him on his first official squirrel hunt on Saturday. He’s a crack shot with the .22 but we opted for the .410 because of all the leaves still on. I took him out last weekend and had him picking walnuts out of the tree with the .410. He loved it as you can see the look on his face when he sit the first one and made it fall. We saw six or so squirrels cutting hickory but Landon never got a good clear shot at one. Memories that will last a lifetime.

I remember my first squirrel hunt with my Poppop. We saw three but I couldn't get a shot with my bolt action youth model .410. I'm sure you'll both cherish the time spent together.
