So excited about my new Hobie Pro Angler 14. I've been wanting a boat for awhile and @DaveT1963 nucanoe pics inspired me! I'll spend plenty of tim hunting for deer, bass and redfish out if this thing.

Nice.... I bought a kayak earlier this year. not as nice as that one, but I love it... fishing is so much better when you can move around the body of water you're fishing... I've caught at least 8-10 fish each time I've been out this year at places I used to get skunked at all the time....

I've also found a hunting spot very close to my house that is absolutely loaded with deer. It's nearly impossible to get to without a canoe, or kayak... I would have never guessed in a million years I had so many deer living just a couple miles from my home....

Deer love islands. I've never had a good way to access them until now.

Also, if I can get to a difficult to reach section of land via the kayak and let the ground pounders push the deer to me... I'm all for that too.

No doubt about the islands... There is an island near where I found the area that's loaded with deer, and they swim to the island all the time...

my kayak wont handle the weight that yours does.. I'm going to have to tow a inflatable raft behind me, still easier then dragging it through the woods...

Bro great choice. I miss my PA, had the PA 12. Super stable easy to mod. Loweance elites with GPS are affordable and when it fog it's super

Looking good! I have a 12 foot malibu stealth and I'll come down and hit up some redfish with you anytime!

Took it out for the maiden voyage tonight. That mirage drive does not disappoint! Wow!

@redsquirrel - C'mon down! let's go! I've got plenty of room... Don't even need a hotel room. We'll run up to Huck's place and kill "UPS", then head out in the Marsh and slay some 15lb redfish. Sounds like the makings of a great trip!

We used to see them swimming across Deer Point Lake all the time when I was kid in Panama City, FL.

I got a killer deal too. I'm not sure the guy knew how strong the resale market was. It Came with a Lowrance elite pre-wired w/battery, hobie cart, stand up rail, a bunch of h-rail rod holders, upgraded paddles, a sail, and a few other things.

I held out for months waiting for the right boat and I got lucky on this one. Couldn't be happier.

Glad to hear that man. Wish I never sold mine. Those wheeleze are expensive but so worth it. That yak is heavy!! Don't get the scupper mounted ones but the cradle

Scupper wheels/cart? That's what it came with. Worked fine tonight. I had help, but by myself I'll need to fashion a little stand. Can't lift the boat and get the wheels in the Scupper holes. That's why you suggested the cradle isn't it...

Lol!!! I'll take you on a guided hunt where " UPS" lives for a crack at a 15 lb redfish. We used to go to the flats in Steinhatchee Florida and catch those. Wow what an amazing way to waste a day. Nice rig man!! Looks like fun.

Look into the Boonedox landing gear system! for a boat that heavy youll appreciate it. Welcome to the Hobie family. I have a 2016 Hobie Outback its absolutely amazing. I had a 2014 but really wanted the stadium seat so I sold it and used the money to upgrade. I also have the Elite 5 HDI with gps and mapping .. cannot go wrong with these combos!!

Yeah it's tough to lift and it's a lot of stress on your scuppers. Seen people have stress cracks develop. I'm sure there are more options out now that will make your life easier look forward
to seeing what you change and how you do out on it.

x2 - I really like the tug cart - I would not sue a scupper cart - especially if you will be going over rough ground

Very nice man! Those are super nice! I bought a Vibe SeaGhost this summer and have had a lot of fun with it. Would like to use it for hunting eventually
