Novix/Trophyline Mission Platform

Nice to have options. It’s a great time to be a saddle hunter.

I like my Predator platform and the smaller size and low weight suits my needs perfectly but I can see where a larger platform would be really nice at times. Looks like a really good price considering the size compared to other platforms.

Not going to be worth it for me. I think the Mission comes with the backpack straps as well which I think are additional on the Ambush?

Does your assault weigh 5lbs? I've been tempted to spring for a LWCG .5 to use as a "platform with a seat."

Heck I know a few guys that use a LW Assault for a saddle platform. Not for me but nice to have options. There is no one size fits all for saddle hunting. Everybody has different requirements for comfort level.

No it's 11lb but that's why I like ROS and solo Scout. I tried a predator and sold it! If I use the Assault it's for stand hunting with sticks.
 
That thing looks too big and heavy for my liking.... hopefully novix drops something new. Everything seems like regurgitated lone wolf stuff with a new name, not very exciting..
 
Rumors of the beast stand have still not been confirmed or denied as far as I know. Anyone have any info on that? I’m hoping if something new comes out of this that it would be that.

All right, you're on to me. . . . Saddle hunting is just an excuse to pursue my suppressed pole dancing aspirations. :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:
I do this out the woods because, quite frankly, nobody needs to see a swinging "Grandad Bod". :)

Oh, I digress, back on topic . . . Its a nice looking platform but I'm afraid its a bit too bulky to become a regular piece of equipment in my hunting arsenal.

I showed my wife a pic and she said, "So it's an actual stand, not the tiny stand like you have?"

Has anyone heard or seen anything more about Hawk's platform? I'm more interested in how that stacks up against all of these new platforms (function and price).
