Poor man's pacseat

You guys are looking at the seat. I am trying to figure out what is he doing with all that salt!
Oh you didn’t know @Red Beard has a new super way to attract deer in his way to a sit location he pops a hole thru the bag and walks thru the deer enclosure at the zoo and sets up and waits for them to follow his trail. He is going to do a video tutorial soon

Well the only way is to face your struggle is face it head on and come clean to the missus that you are a tinkerer and you need to modify gear to fit your needs and if she doesn’t like it then...
Oh she knows I'm a tinkerer man. She spent the past couple years watching me climb trees with climbers, sticks, platforms, and ropes. She knows the wheels always turning!

My wife won’t even go into my man cave cause I got way to much gear and projects I’m working on. She rolls her eyes when she goes into the living room snd sees I have the coffee table all covered up with bows and gear I’m working on. I do about 6 projects at once cause I’m always thinking. Working on a duct tape fletching 2 fletch arrow for @Red Beard for the wet weather hunts

Just tell her she is the luckiest woman in the world to have you your wheels might be spinning but sometimes theirs flats on the path to success but you will overcome it. LOL

Why not just use trad vanes? Oh right I’m sorry…. Carry on.

I figure he won’t accept the trad vanes I use so I figure the duct tape would be more his speedView attachment 63595 he already mad at me for going back to 3 fletch after I hook him into 2 fletch. Remember @Red Beard its only got testing purposes. LoL
For the record I shoot these right off the shelf and they work great. He is always after the next great thing perhaps we can lead him astray. Hey @Redbeard ever heard of no fletch? It’s where you shoot broadheads with no fletchings attached. I think you should experiment and let us know how amazing it is. Arrow flight is supposedly so awesome that you’ll be doing cart wheels.

So we all agree he's just going to end up with a DIY Jx3 by the time he's done right???

;-)
Weldabeast and I were just talking about this exact thing. He said a jx3 would be the ticket but when you use a jx3 as a chair, you have to sit on the ground ground and I can't shoot a stickbow with my butt on the dirt. Seems like you'd have to make legs for the jx3 to make it a chair.

The other thing the jx3 doesn't have, or at least I don't think it has, is a hammock-style seat. I have a compressed bone in my back/butt that doesn't allow me to sit on hard surfaces for more than a half hour or so. A hammock is a bit better for me.

So we are thinking a diy dryad drey mixed with a pac seat and the resulting child of the two out of wedlock is what your aiming for? Spicy. Some poor game warden is gonna stumble on him shake his head and give him 20 dollars out of pity.

The seat on the jx3 is not solid, its a fabric mesh piece (like the trampoline material I mentioned)

I get the issue of the trad bow from the ground....works great still on a stump, log, or rock....

I'd think it would be pretty easy to fabricate a folding leg section for the bottom of the jx3.... Thinking like one of those fold out luggage things they have at a hotel....

Right on! That is good to know. My misunderstanding of the seat material is definitely one of the reasons I've stayed away from the jx3.

Now I need to buy a $400 jx3 instead of a $350 Pacseat.
