You realy gunna carry all that.

I walk 1/2 to 3/4 mile of fairly flat ground and carry less than 20 pounds usually. My biggest problem is beggar lice, stick tights, and cockle burrs. I sometimes finish off a hunt with a shot of Scotch and I never brag about how thick it is because it's mostly Hickory and Oak with small clearings and a steep bottom.
 
I don't think it's a bragging thing.....I wish it wasn't that way. I way jelly of the states u can go and see more than 40yds in the woods. I'm counting down the days I can go hunt somewhere else other than here. My buddies go outta state and I hear the stories and it sometimes sounds unbelievable. They come back with fantastic stores of seeing lots of deer and being able to pattern bucks and do all the stuff I see on urubes
 
So how are you ultralighters out west packing out your Blacktails, bears, elk and Muley’s then when you connect? I want to see your gear laid out like in a military training manual.
 
It took every thing i had to barely .....literaly hump that black bear over that log.i aint tuff.but truthfully i hate the sand and the lowland swamps....you fall in them different.this was fun joshin wit the beast.but i realy ment to talk gear.look my dudes good at this.alxays pulls good conversation...i figyered he would just spank me with à photo shop quick ...but he must have been busy.im à city boy. Not a hunter hero.i just came to this site to talk trash , make em or break em like we haze them in our union.i didnt come here to make friends.....it just so happens that the coolest mother ...hunters come to this sight.so its easy to hang with the dope croud.and just coencidently make dope friends

I know I’m late to the party but I just wanted to say I love these threads where tail gunner shows us a bunch pictures of places in oregon he hasn’t killed deer… really inspiring the way he goes in ultralight and comes out ultralight for the sake of being ultralight :tearsofjoy:
