Been wanting to take a trip up to WI and spend some time with Dan Infalt for several years - we finally got our schedules to work out so I am heading up tomorrow to spend a couple days with him. Ikeman from TX is also joining us so that will be neat to actually meet a SH member. We really tried to get Dan down this way to do a scouting seminar, but it is hard for him as he has to burn vacation time to travel so far this way.

Anyways, should be a fun trip and perhaps Ikeman and I can plan a trip together for this Fall. Heck I am just looking forward to seeing the countryside in WI as I know it is a beautiful state.
 
Sounds like a great trip in the works. WI is a great option for a NR. Cheap, over the counter tags.

You'll be seeing a lot of swamp with Dan. If you want him to scout some River bottom and/or farmland areas, I'm only 50 minutes from him. I can set you up with some good areas to scout.

Don’t worry too much about cold weather gear. You will stay warm trying to keep up with Dan ..........that guy can cover some ground!
