    Rated RC Harness loops?

Be careful with the metolius safe tech’s. I spoke with the company and the gear loops are not made to hang from! It’s a pretty big misconception about them.

    Looking for samick sage limbs

I have a set of 50# limbs, but I'm leaving on a 2.5 week hunting trip today if you can wait that long.

    Backup power bank

I gave up on worrying about my phone battery. Garmin gpsmap64 with birds eye takes 2 AA batteries and last days and is way more reliable when you’re way back in swamps. Waterproof too and pretty sturdy. GPS for any navigation and marking points and places, phone only if I need a higher...

    Good deal at NAP (NewArcheryProducts)

If anyone hasn't noticed the also sell extra blades. For the Killzones a 3 pack set of blades is only 10$ after the coupon.

    Lone Wolf Strap

I usually replace my most used straps every few years on my hang on. I have no doubt they last a very long time though. Straps are only 10$ a pop so it’s pretty cheap insurance to have a new one.

    memory loss

I have a set too. They really hurt your ankles, but they are probaly the absolute lightest climbing method you can get. I dont think they weigh much more then a pound for both. I filed the points to make them a little sharper and on softer trees they aren't to bad.

    So which is better

In my opinion it’s hard to beat a set of lone wolf sticks or even helium’s. Especially if you do not have any other methods right now. Throw some home made aiders on and call it a day. Once you get some sticks you can build off of them as you see fit and add different climbing methods, but you...

    Cons to the "one-stick" method?

The weight savings vs effort really isn’t there. It’s one of those tools I’ll use a few times a year, but it’s not something I’d want to do every hunt. To me 2 extra sticks with aiders are worth their weight in ease of climbing. Ymmv

    Linemans belt risk

Sometimes I think it may be better to hit the ground instead of having a LoneWolf step rip your stomach open like a velociraptor.. or even worse screw in steps or bolts..:tired::tired: of coarse the higher you get the ground starts to loose it’s appeal. Industry guys using lineman’s belts are...

    Show me your Fanny!

I have one of these, I like it. I used it for a few years then ended up cutting some of the unneeded junk that I never used anymore and switching to an old tiny fieldline fanny pack. Worked great with a lock on. If they made it in fleece, a little smaller or possibly only one pouch I think it...

    Cam buckle straps

A ropeman isn’t for life support either..

    Cam buckle straps

Are we all talking about different straps? I’m pretty sure a LoneWolf cam strap is used by thousands of people to support their tree stands? Why would it not be ok to use as a lineman’s belt?

    Cam buckle straps

I've used a Lone Wolf strap for a linemans belt before. It got the job done. I would not use a cheaply made cam buckle strap though.

    Need some advice

I would not spend my only hunting related $90 on wild edge steps when I have multiple climbing methods to use already. I tried some and they weren't for me. I would only pick some up if I had extra money and wanted to mess around with them. Sounds like your hawks are funtional, maybe not fancy...
