Very nice. I see you're mounting your cams up high. Do you find it is spooking the deer less?

Yes deer don't notice it. Cuts down on view a lot. Also on public land keeps out of view of public.

Thats what I thought. I tried to do it last year but the bears kept climbing the tree and breaking the cam off the hook I had it screwed into!

same trouble I always have.

rccordrey, what are you using to mount your cams up high? I had picked up a few of those screw in hooks that screw to the bottom of the cam also. I was thinking about cutting some wooden blocks with an angle to attach to the back of my bear boxes to point the cam down since last time I used the screw in mount the bear ripped that off the tree and it just hung there til I got back.

I mount my cams the same up high. Deer never see them. I just break a stick of whatever thickness i need and put it behind top of cam the sinch down strap.

My cams are hung as high as I can get with a 32" lone wolf stick

Good deer for June. I was expecting him to blow up.

Didn't grow like I expected. Great deer, but one more year....

Pulled my two cameras from another place in the same block of woods tonight. 2 cameras, 6 days, apples out for the camera... 2 does walked by one night. Haha.

I guess all of that sign on this part of the property was from when the beans were in. I will climb near where I got those two pics above. Guido's Web should be here next week. But lots of practice before I'm slinging arrows at a live animal from it.
