I'm in this year.
I almost always hunt alone too. I have a little screw in camera mount that I put a iphone holder on that I keep with my kill kit so I can get a photo. I have forgetten it a few times and I'll just find a branch or perch my phone on my backpack with the camera timer.Although I typically hunt alone but I will do my best to get a picture with me in it.

I can't believe I'm gonna suggest this on a public forum. My wife has this thing called a selfie stick that cradles her phone and its telescopic. Just look for it on Amazon. If I talk about it anymore I'm sure to vomit.Although I typically hunt alone but I will do my best to get a picture with me in it.

And it's worse when we're in on it together...Now your making me spend money!!!! Lol first G2 and now the squirrel!!!
Couldn't have said it better!I'm sorry to hear that bud! However, I'm certain most everyone on this forum would echo the following: " thanks to folks like you we maintain the freedoms that we have. And among those happens to be saddle hunting ". Thanks Greg!!!
I have three selfie sticks. I always lose one and then find it after I buy a replacement. .I can't believe I'm gonna suggest this on a public forum.
