Memories that will last a lifetime! Way too cool. Tell your son congratulations.Round 2 successful!
My son and I didn't have any luck but my 11yr old nephew filled his tag tonight.
Ended up not seeing any deer, but it was my first hunt in, what about 10 years without using the old ameristep ring o steps. Used a lone wolf hand climber seat, which was excellent on the feet for ~4.5 hours I was out. Much more comfortable IMO. Needs some tweaks to make it a better climbing method, the strap likes to snag. Saw some folks put some tubing to round off the edges so I'll try that next. I'll still carry bolts for limby trees.Been in the tree for about 2 hrs, long day getting better with every acorn drop. Nothing yet but it's still early, and hot. Figured I'd better get a hunt in before the hurricane hits

Thanks brotha. Dude no joke that sika tastes unreal, its particularly tender. Canoe is an old town from the early 90's. It been in my family so long no one can remember the model. Its kinda heavy but has been through hell and is extremely stable, I use it like a beefy paddle board all the time.Congrats on the Sika, gotta tell us how it tastes!
And what kind of canoe is that? I'm looking to upgrade from my kayak and that looks like what I'm searching for!
