You are under a little water, I do not understand the problem. LOL
Film debut might have to wait. Flinginairos and G2 are safe for now.

Its for real and he partnered with @Erniepower who designed some reengineered version of his platform along with a stellar group of guys with crazy experience. Check out it all out at https://tethrdnation.com/

I bought a saddle and platform complete kit. This is gonna revolutionize saddle hunting. Lol get on board and get some hang time!!!!!

And these guys are a bunch of great guys that contribute a lot to this site and saddle hunting. I ordered one of each and I will put them both through the ringer this season. The nice thing is I can call Greg and offer some feedback and HE LISTENS. Same with Ernie, They are just some great folks and I hope their business excels and they reap the rewards due!!!

Dave, are talking about just hanging with them, or using for core work or both?

Both :) But for helping with removing pressure off discs hanging from them and allowing gravity t pull against compression. I now do some hanging after deadlifting and squats for that very reason - I am getting old and paying a price for years of not addressing compression.

I have to agree. I do not know either man. I have talked with Ernie and he gave me the low down on the way they designed and tested the Predator. I feel very comfortable with the prospect of using both products. I conversed with both yesterday and shared something on the web site. They agreed and changed it. Yes, they listen and make informed decisions.

I am saddened though that there is not a kegerator being offered. LOL

As I get older, I have found the strength slipping.

Try inversion therapy also. I have a ruptured disc, and compressed 2 discs when I fell 3 years ago. I do not have a inversion table, but I use a Total Gym on the top level when the discs act up.

The real test for the predator will come when it shows up at my house. Maybe I can get @Big Country to meet me at the river and we can use it as a dive platform. If it can survive that it’s better than any tma certifications.

I think Red ought to hook up with my brother and let him inspect the Mantis and let some of his guys use it for work on piles and what not. My brother is an OSHA certified instructor. He luvs the kestrel and has said as such, that the kestrel is better made than saddles he has used for work.

Bowfin and Grennel in Ga. Depends on who you're talking to. But it sure is a nasty rascal either way.
Your part of GA might as well be southern Queens. They are just mudfish and not a trash fishbat all you have to grind them up and make croquettes or as we would call them patties.

Here is an idea Instead of using weights to squat, just do a slow isometric squat. You will get as strong without the weight on your back compressing. My legs were never as strong as when I wrestled. You were always in that stance.

Another thing for all, is when using a back pack and you have a bad back. Make sure it is fitted correctly and use the waist strap. The 15-30 lbs is not much weight but with a herniated disc carryjng that weight on your shoulders instead of your hips can do you in. Your compressing discs if you shoulder carry

I can’t agree anymore with this statement. I did the same in fact i have to order something today from them again as my brain was tinkering. The group as a collective is a powerhouse. I will support this to the fullest extent that I can and spread the word to help ensure success.

Btw back injurys suck!!! I screwed my back up in my mid 20’s at my attempt to do strongman comps. I was training with guys way bigger and stronger than me and my stupid man pride was like i could do that. Yeah i did it and pop. I was hunched over for about 3 weeks from deadlifts. Worst pain I have ever felt. I am now alot smater because of it and inversion/gravity training is great for the back. Plus maintaining flexibility is also beneficial

In a perfect world where money was no object i'd be snatch up a mantis, predator platform, and also a new tribe mesh kestrel just because... well just because!! But, sadly, that is not currently the world i'm living in. Until then... anyone want to buy some a/v equipment? LOL

Probably more than just buying new...

I hope I feel as comfortable in this mantis as I do in a rc harness. I’m thinking the first thing I will have to do is cut off the bridge. I wish it were adjustable just for rappelling. Does anyone have any good solutions for rappelling in a real saddle? I’m obviously a sitdrag/harness guy.

@BassBoysLLP did some testing with this.

Concerning the fixed bridge issue - we recognize that not everyone will like a fixed bridge. We can't even get the Tethrd Team to all agree! lol. But to meet our goals with price, manufacturing, & weight, it made the most sense for the most amount of people. Hopefully that makes sense and thank you so much for the support! It means a lot!

It really depends on your style. I actually plan on running two saddles this year. One with a fixed bridge. One with an adjustable. And I'll likely carry the fixed bridge saddle 8 times out of 10.

As for rappeling, there are no issues rappeling off the fixed bridge. It really is no different than doing a spider rappel from the belay loop. The autoblock prussic can be clipped into the lineman's loop or bridge loop. The nice thing about spider rappel is it keeps your autoblock away from your rappel device.

I had a roommate in college who was a ranked strongman. Matt Metheney. He blew his acl out and took him out competition.
