Advantages of the Guidos Web

I think one of the greatest benefits is how safe I feel and the comfort is unbelievable. My only regret is that it took me this long in my hunting career to find out about it.

Yep. I don't like to take my climber much higher than 15' if I can find an excuse to keep it low!!! I've never had it much higher than 22'. In my Web, I've swung around nearly 40' up and didn't have any concerns. It's truly the safest I have ever felt in a tree and I know it is one reason why I'm seeing more deer when I saddle hunt.

Has any thought about adding a back band to the web when it's hot to keep the seat back away to keep a person cooler in the heat?

That's why when it's warm out I use my Kestrel. I love my web but early season it's the Kestrel I use. Can't wait to see the new web and it's features. I already have a Web a Kestrel and a treesuit. Sold my Trophy Line years ago. I guess if I like the new Web I have four saddles. How many saddles can one man have?

Oh yeah ....more are better. LOL Just thought if the back is let out all the way on the web and use a back band one could use it in warmer weather. Love the web comfort.

I was thinking if you used the back ban from a Kestrel that could work. Never thought of doing that . Now I will have to try it . Good thought.

If I don’t sell my guidos then I may go through with some planned mods. One of the first ones that I was considering is to undo the stitching on the back piece of the guidos and removing the plastic support. Then I would cut out about 80% of the plastic away, leaving an outer frame and a few cross pieces as stiffing supports. This would allow the back support to breath through the majority of the materials surface area, reduce weight and not require an additional back band.

I was also thinking about doing the same thing to the aluminum plate in the seat and then stretching mesh material across it to act as support.

I would wait and see what the new Web looks like and if it'looks like what you had in mind then you can sell you Web .

I do believe that anyone looking for comfort will love the new web. If what I have pictured and seen comes out to what John, the new owner, is wanting, this stand is gonna be hard to not like.
Cooler
Under 10 lbs
Shoot 360 while sitting or standing
Adjustable fork
Backrest will not fall below the seat like the original
Use as a back pack frame
Use as a turkey hunting seat, blind seat, camp seat without being attached to a tree
Less belts
Linemans belt and tether are ropes

It's going to be a hunting multi-tool.

I am using a twin webbing bridge attached with Wichard locking shackles-the short one 12" is used for ascending and the longer 24"one is attached to the tree tether once in position. I am using the aluminum part from a Petzl adjustable bridge for my lanyard(linesman belt) with a length of 10mm Teufelberger deep shnur and it works slicker than snot. The way I have developed my system I can be up at 18-20' in 3 movements and rap down. If using pre set lines I can use RADS and be up in position pretty effortlessly. For me the Guidos comfort and adjustability are pretty hard to beat.

Hi @cedarpaul
Can you post a picture, please?
Thanks
