Ameristep strap question?

I have ameristeps for my platform but the ameristep strap I had is done for. What is a replacement I could use? Tried just a regular cam buckle strap but one of the hooks kept coming loose while I was standing on the plate form

You can buy a polyester tag end from strap works with the same flat hook on it. But I would highly suggest changing from the buckle that comes with the ameristep to an over center buckle. They get the strap a lot tighter and can be use with the flat hook the same way

X2. Not sure what you're using but without a boat buckle or at least a ratchet you will never get it tight enough.
 
Just a green cam buckle for me. Guess I may end up with a ratchet if I can't find anything else. Paid to much for those steps not to use them lol
