I’m digging this XC
Thanks for posting. I was really on the fence about the black vs. grey mesh since there were not photos on the site a little while back.

Mine should be delivered on Thursday. I switched colors but they sent me a black one I contacted Chad and he took care of it. So I will send the black one back and get the gray one. Chad was awesome to deal with and a very nice person.

Good deal, I’ve got the same one on the way
36” waist 225 hope I made the right choice

We are on the border where either would work

If staying at a 38 waist I bet size 3 would be better but I’ll be down at 190-200 and 35-36waist during hunting season

Chad is great to deal with if u need to swap out I’m sure he’d take care of u

Or get a gray/silver sharpie for your black mesh.

I was the one that suggested it originally, and after doing so, I messaged Chad to ask what he thought about it. He advised against it, saying Sharpies can damage the mesh. He recommended using Rit Dye for Synthetics, if anything. If you decide to take the Sharpie route, I'd suggest a small test spot before going all out. Another option would be to fasten a patch of an old leafy suit or blind on there--wouldn't add hardly any weight or heat.

Or camo with DanO pouches along the backside.

Got my gray Cruzr XC and sent back the black one. I would like to thank Chad Rice and Cruzr saddles for taking care of it so quickly. I love the looks of this saddle. Thanks again.

Ordered my saddle and since they were an hour away I asked if I could come pick it up.
Chad is a stand up guy and runs a great shop. He took the time out of his day to explain the saddle and took me outside to try it out before I left since I'm new to saddles.
Outstanding customer service and happy to support a company like Cruzer.

I can't find any other source for these Cruzr buckles other than Alibaba. Where are these made? What is the source? I'm replacing mine with an AustriAlpin buckle.

Did you contact the Cruzr guy and ask him?

That is the only place I could find them. The leg buckles are perfect. Small, light, easy to use. But likely not weight rated.

The waist buckle is not as heavy as a cobra but is still is a rated buckle

I wanted some of the leg buckles for another saddle. I asked Chad for some but he never got back to me. I have a Cruzr and started this thread months ago and generated a lot of interest and like the Cruzr, I figured I could get some buckles.
I want to add those buckles to another saddle but maybe he doesn’t want me to or he is to busy and forgot about the request?
Those leg buckles are my favourite period, they are light, small and stay connected. The only other buckle that might be an equal or better are the method hooks.

Because I'm having a hard time trusting a buckle that says 24kn but can't find the source or testing or documentation. Nothing. Look at the same style buckles being used on this site https://www.alyxstudio.com/collections/accessories
You know if your leg buckles broke you should not fall. If you waist belt failed you would not fall unless you slipped out of your saddle. If your bridge failed or tether failed you may die. Or your if ropeman fails which is certainly possible you may die it cuts your tether. If you side load a carabiner it may fail.
The H2 comes without leg straps. The leg straps are an add on for the recon. Many of the tethrd crew have been know to cut their leg straps off.

If it says it is rated at 24 Kn it likely is and if it isn't .... OH Well. The belt does not take most of your weight the bridge and bridge loops are critical.

I understand that. I have young kids, I'm not comfortable hunting off of "OH Well". That's okay if other folks are. I have the Cruzr XC. It's comfortable and light. The only concern is the waist buckle which is easily replaceable. No worries.
