Any reviews of this saddle. The Cruzr saddle

I currently have a Size 1 Kestrel and Size 1 Kite. I wanted to try a Size 2 Kite since I am right on the line of 1 vs. 2, but Aero Hunter stopped making them, apparently???

Any recommendations on Cruzr size (2 vs. 3) to match up with Kite size 2? I would be going with the non-pleated version.

I had a size 2 Kite and currently have a size 3 Cruzr S (non pleated). The Cruzr is a little bigger than the Kite was and for that is more comfortable to me. I am 6 foot, 230 lbs and wear a 38 jeans.

Just placed my order for a Cruzr XC size 2. Order #1121. Super excited to try it out. What are the chances I get it before Wisconsin opening weekend September 12?

Wow order 1121???

They are really selling those suckers. I remember I had order 17 back in March...

Trying to also figure out my Cruzr sizing, I am 6'1" 210 lbs and wear a 36 waist jean, however if I take a tape measure to my waist it measures 40" and I swear my pants are not squezing my waist... For the other guys that are around my size claiming they are a 36" or 38" waist, is this your pant size or have you actually measured your waist ? I live in the northeast and wear a couple pairs of long johns with a pair of bibs (First Lite Northbranch) so Im not sure which way to go.

Chad and Jerry from CRUZR came all the way up to WI from TN this weekend to attend the WI meetup. They said right now their lead time is about 3 weeks. They are being very conscious about not over promising and under delivering and material supply chains are still a little screwed up. They have sold something like 1300 now and continue to grow their operation. Great guys putting out a really comfortable product.

It really is a great saddle. Especially for first time saddle hunters.
There is almost no fiddle factor to make it comfortable. Sure tether height and bridge length will have some effect but if you do everything wrong it is still comfortable
1300 saddles and now a shorter wait. All good.

I tried one on yesterday it fellt really comfortable i own the areo kestrel flex and the tetherd phantom. From all the reviews i seen the cruzr tree saddle its rated the most comfortable. Tne kestrel is also very comfortable but i dont like the ropes.

It's possible Chad made the switch since my review but regardless, I really like the idea of only one tri glide and what you did with the new buckle! Looks great!
Maybe I’m not as versed with the Tri Glides, but i have a hard time adjusting it easily and one handed. I was hoping to find a way to make the waist belt adjust like their leg straps do. Much easier and quicker to use one handed.

Just got my Cruzr today and sat for short bit. Probably gonna sell my Phantom. Waaay more comfortable sitting and I even find it easier to walk in (can cinch bridge down tighter).

Already swapped out the buckle (cuz of all drama about buckles) and added a second oplux short bridge for SRT.

Curious why you didn't just use the amsteel bridge for SRT? That's my plan, just shorten it up for rope climbing.

Been doing that on my Phantom but I find Ilike to switch to a tether from my climbing rope and that is just easier with a second bridge.

I’m interested in the S (no pleat model). You’re one of the few I’ve noticed that went that route. How is it performing for you? I like simple and worry that the pleat may eventually wear and lose its adjustability. Do you find the S comfy for several hour sits?

The "S" is working out great! I have done a number of 4 hour sits in it and am loving it. I haven't done any all day sits yet, but I think it will be fine.

I saw a few guys swapped out their CRUZR's buckle to a Raptor due to safety concerns. This would be an interesting thing to read for those interested in Raptor testing.

I have the CRUZR Archon (comes with Cobra Buckle) for this season.

I was using a Tethrd Mantis for the 2020 season and ended with 15 sits. Max sits were about 3 hrs, due to comfort. The Archon's comfort is quite amazing. I am happy with the upgrade.

I went with a cobra buckle in part due to reading that.

The original cruzr webbing belt was quite then, so I used a dual adjust cobra (grabs both sides) and beefy stainless steel triglides from sailrite on both sides (that are rated for a few hundred pounds).
