Any reviews of this saddle. The Cruzr saddle

I understand that. I have young kids, I'm not comfortable hunting off of "OH Well". That's okay if other folks are. I have the Cruzr XC. It's comfortable and light. The only concern is the waist buckle which is easily replaceable. No worries.

I get why they could slip through

Used the 8mm sterling it came with. Didn’t want to sacrifice any of my oplux rappel line.

Works great.

What made you decide to switch buckles, and how did you decide on that particular one?
AustriAlpin (Austria) and ADF (USA) both make proven rated buckles. AustriAlpin has been in business the longest. When the ADF buckles first came out they had some issues pointed out by AustriAlpin, but I believe some of those have been addressed. I have no idea where the Cruzr buckles come from ... I'm guessing somewhere in China. My Internet search Kung Fu is pretty advanced and I can't any info on the buckles other than they have some ratings printed on them? As far as this specific buckle, like the D-Ring. AFAIK AustriAlpin is the only one who makes these buckles with D-rings. When I get to hunting height, I tie the tail of my tether to the D-Ring as another backup.

Very helpful--thank you! Would you mind linking exactly what you bought? I'm considering the same approach.

Does that new buckle on your waist belt allow you to do one handed adjustments to tightness?

The current buckle can already do one handed adjustment. If you watch @MADhunts review, the Cruzr has tri-glides on both sides of the buckle. I'm not sure why that is? My Cruzr (purchased last month) came with only one tri-glide on the non adjusting side of the buckle. You can take the tri-glide off of the adjusting side (at your own risk).

How do you think a 1.75” buckle would work? I some larger webbing I’d like to use it on in addition to the cruzr.

I'm not sure. Aerohunter uses 1.75 inch webbing and the Cruzr uses 1.5 inch. I just bought the appropriate sizes.

It's possible Chad made the switch since my review but regardless, I really like the idea of only one tri glide and what you did with the new buckle! Looks great!
