A CPL days ago I preset a CPL trees with the new ez kut. I got fifteen grade eight bolts for $5.60 at the local surplus. Drilling a tree is do able with this system for run and gun setups. Gonna load it up with hockey tape to guite it down. Spots I have been hunting for years that are tried and true buck corridors will use a drill and just leave the bolts in. Love this system already. Can't wait tell Nov prime rut. Wake up real early and not have to drag a stand in. Just climb preset bolts hook up the kestrel and hunt!

Careful leaving them in. I made that mistake many years ago. Bolts get shorter every year and eventually you need new holes and bolts. I wish I would have just redrilled every fall or installed steps instead.

Rite on. Was planning on taking them out at seasons end.

Muh rig. Stealth strips inside and out quiet the drill up an insane amount. I'm going to find some nylon washers for the sleeve. That is the only part making noise now.

Even Crawford screw ins will do that.... no telling how long these were left in!

Not in the short term. I've had bolts get stuck after leaving them in for a few months. The threads weren't enough to back them out. I could have easily gotten a screw in out.
