Anyone interested in doing a late spring scouting trip/seminar in the South?

Im giving mine up heavily managed
Huge deer alot of them too but ive asked myself is 1800 bucks worth a spot i hunt only 2-3 times a year. No way. The more pressure you put on an area ( over hunting it ) the less deer your gonna see. Well too me thats talking about deer in general
Mature bucks well they are another whole animal when it comes to pressure so to me unless its about 10,000 acres. Its nice to have private leases but just not worth it look on your state and fish game sites there is more public land than people think you just gotta dig and maybe ask some questions.

Oh I know of about 250,000 acres within an hour drive of my house. Only thing is I'm off during the winter and my lease is literally a mile from my house. That's one of the main reasons I continue to hunt it.

The average lease around here goes for 3000-5000 per gun - crazy

I feel fortunate to pay much less than that but I still only made it out to my lease once last season. I've got public grounds closer. And with county antler restrictions and doe seasons my odds are about the same on public as my private lease unfortunately. Plus I really have come to enjoy hunting by myself. The guys at deer camp want to focus more on drinking than hunting. There's nothing wrong with this I just have gotten way more into hunting recently.

West Texas deadhead I found last week....
I’d love to come across some northeast Texas bucks that look like this.
