Saddle Nation,

It is with a heavy heart that I post this thread.

This forum and community has been so amazing over the past 5 years. However, I have been given an incredible opportunity to join a team and change my lifestyle.

I can’t talk about the specifics yet due to Non Disclosure Agreements, but I have been offered a career change to host a new television show with a very well known brand in the outdoor industry. This is bittersweet because part of the contract states what type of elevated hunting I will have to use, and it’s not a saddle.

I have mixed emotions about this because I’ll be able to make a living doing what we all love, but it will take some time before I get to hunt from a saddle again.

I’m sure this will limit my involvement on the forum, but I wanted to make this post to say thanks to all of you who have made me a better hunter and supported me.

Good luck, your doing the same thing anyone on here would do given the opportunity. I've got to do a lot of rifle hunts in the industry I'm in and even though I'd love to have my bow a day in the woods beats a day in the office.

I’m all for pursuing dreams, but could you really get behind hunting intensely managed farms, having more sponsors than pieces of gear, having to call everything a “monster” and having to say after every shot “whoa, I smoked him!! Big Buck down baby!!!”
