I have thought of epoxy and I do believe your are correct and that might be my next step. I think then it would work well with lone wolf stand offs and drop the weight by close 150 g... Lone wolf stand off weigh 88 g I think and muddy 160 g. That would put you in the 1.25 pound range plus the epoxy.Ontariofarmer- How about filling the hockey stick with a plastic/ starboard or carbon spacer or even filling with epoxy just in the space with the holes. May be stronger and lighter than the flange nuts and washers?
Just back from family vacation...need to finish and test my welded version sticks
I really want a custom stand off made for a hockey stick. I think that could rock.
Epoxy with an aluminium spacer may be the way to go.
Especially if you use lighter rope and titanium 1/4 bolts.
