Tapped out holes in my lone wolf sticks I've been modifying 7/16" holes on one inch centers total package came out to 1.8 pounds I am completely satisfied with this for myself now I just got to make 3 more and wrap them in stealth strips.

And then sell them to me

How much weight did you eliminate?

To be honest I'm not sure I didn't get an accurate weight before I put the holes in but since I haven't done the others I will weigh one before it has holes.

Hows the testing going guys? We haven't heard form y'all in a while? any updates?

The step design in that picture worked great but the total weight came in at 1.4lbs. So we had to machined a good bit more off the step to get to 1.3 w/o holes. We put 250lbs on one step and It ended up bending slightly. We just had to remove to much step material to hit the 1.3lbs, good news is the rivets and diy verse button worked great.

I am trying your design with 1/8 angle and welding it to the post to keep it from moving. I am getting a friend to weld it today.

I should mention that it was 250lbs hanging off of one side of one step

This tread has been quiet with all of the tethrd/kestrel mesh talk so I thought I would revive it .
Ontario did you get a chance to try out the welded 1/8 angle? I’m curious how this turned out as I need to figure out what method of build I want to try.

My friend who welds aluminium says he will have them ready next week. I have waited 8 weeks. I am making 12 inch sticks to try and will let you know when they are finished how I like them. I have some long sticks made from the @ImThere steps. They are great. But he has the same problem I have... getting someone to make them.
I really want to know how putting cam cleats on the side of the sticks work. That will make them stack perfect. I also want to know how the cam cleats are working on WE steps. I may try both when I get time. Time is short all spring but maybe I will have time soon.

Its a cam on a stepp...and it works
I have not put it thru a lot of testing.
Its my first step in my practice runs.
