I did some climbing, earlier this evening and found that using 1 Foot Loop works better than 2. Using my left leg to climb and my right leg to hug the tree, as I move the tethers up, works with less climbing effort.
I'm not sure what was going on with my JRB ascending hitch, that I tied with my new 6mm rope, but it bites the rope so hard it makes it difficult to release during the rappel.
I may try it again tomorrow, but use a distel hitch with a mini pulley and see how that works.

I'll have to pick a different tree the next time, with a clearer background.
