Just checked my other one and its working fine. I tested them both in the yard for a couple days and they both worked fine. According to the videos, It worked the 1st day in the woods, then flipped out. I put new batteries in it and put it back out. Went check it in about 4 hours and it had took almost 90 pics. Was still flipping out. Contacted the seller for a refund. We'll see. I don't know why I keep trying different cams. My moultire 880s are great. They just don't make them any more.

The code still worked this morning if anyone wants to pick a few more Browning’s up. Not sure how long it will last though.

This is why I don’t buy from eBay for things like this....
you typically end up with cams that someone got a smoking deal on, and there’s a reason they got a smoking deal.

I buy brand new from amazon, and the seller is typically always browning. It bumps me up a bit in cost, but I haven’t had a single camera freak out on me yet.

I have just had too many issues with too many different products purchased on eBay.

I see Ebay getting a bad rap a lot but, I don't think it's fair to compare used/re manufactured stuff purchased at a heavy discount to brand new full price stuff. You can buy new from Ebay also, usually from the exact same sellers and for the same price as Amazon. It's actually fairly common for my new Ebay purchases to come shipped in Amazon boxes.

I have been using Ebay regularly for a decade or more and I purchase a lot of used/ re manufactured/store returned items at crazy discounts. I have never had a negative experience. I have had few items not work correctly but, it was always easy to deal with the seller and get a full refund and on top of that I have never had a seller require that I ship back an item that I received a refund on. The only time I had any issue with a seller is when I purchased a $400 treadmill new for $99/free shipping. I knew it was most likely a scam but, also knew that Ebay has a "money back guarantee" so I took a chance. It wasn't a legit deal and Ebay refunded my money without question.

I'm not necessarily trying to change your mind just adding another opinion regarding the bad rap Ebay gets. To me it's worth getting 3 trail cams for the price of one, even if the 4th doesn't work and I have to request a refund. Some people it might not be.

I bought four refurbished cams and all are working just fine so far.

Does anyone else find that the Browning’s have an extremely short trigger range? Like 10yds. Seems my bushnell e2 and e3’s are quite a bit better with range. I only wish I could find some of those for this price.
Never had any trouble with the range my Browning Strike Force would take pictures. Always work great.

The ones I just picked up have a range of at least 20 yards. You may be able to change the sensor sensitivity in the menu.

This is what a dark ops looks like when it's taking a night photo as seen by another dark ops. Pretty cool.

I put two cameras on the same spot last summer. I pulled the cards and was going through the pictures and on about the 4th or 5th night picture there was this light shining on my mineral lick. As I flipped through the rest of the pictures there were several more times in the middle of the night that a bright light was shining on my mineral lick.

Someone is spotlighting my mineral lick in August! Who the heck is trespassing on my property? Did they shoot one of my bucks? I got pretty fired up and was trying to figure out what night would be best to sit out there all night to catch them when I realized it was just the flash from the other camera going off....

That's cool. Were you just curious?

Mostly I just wanted to test the cameras. The one I caught this photo with was in Trail Cam mode. The other seen in the photo was in Video mode. I was looking for turkeys for my season next week. Instead I got a ton of deer. I'm not complaining.

Mine are now 8 hours away soaking for a few months....... We'll see how they held up come September.

They come with a 1 yr warranty from Browning.
Yep. This is Brownings standard warranty. Same as buying a new cam. No discounted warranty because it's a refurb. You don't necessarily need a refund from a seller if you have any technical issues. You can get a replacement camera.
