Deal Alert

Corn isn’t for me as far as deer hunting goes, except for an easy place to get my son on a deer.
BUT, lots of guys that spend all kinds of money planting artificial food sources like food plots don’t see that as cheating.

Besides, you typically won’t get a mature buck on corn during

I was just kidding with G2 . If you can use corn more power to you. Here in Pa we are not allowed to bait and if you put it out for cameras you have to make sure there is no bait left on the ground 90 days before the season starts.

Ebay is running 20% off right now with Code PREP4SUMMER.

That puts these Refurbished Dark Ops down to $56 each to your door.

A couple accidentally fell into my cart.

The strike force cameras are only $48.

I bought two more. Glad I waited last week. I wanted to get two more but hesitated. This put me over the top. Saved $28 on two more Dark Ops. Thanks for the heads up on the code PREP4SUMMER

See, this site is actually SAVING me money!!!

The only thing I don't like about my Dark Ops is that in the multi shot mode it takes 3 seconds between photos on Standard mode and only .3 seconds between shots in Rapid Fire Mode. One is too slow and the other is too fast. At least in my opinion.

For the price, I'm not complaining.

A lot can be managed with setup. If you quarter your cameras from direction of travel, 3 seconds is generally OK.

I like to use bait just where my daughter will hunt. She has limited time limited experience so I just want her to experience some success
I seldom hunt at home so she has fresh areas close to home for weekend hunts

I run almost exclusively videos nowadays. It has made it a lot easier to figure out movement direction, antler details, etc...
It doesn’t kill my battery because it’s on public land, and not on food sources. There’s not a lot of trigger frequency.

Never tried video but I think I'll have to give it a go.

The strike force camera's camo sucks, unless its on a white oak. I might spray some brown on it to help darken it. Sticks out like a sore thumb.

I saw some videos of a guy who uses hot glue to stick pieces of real tree bark to his cameras. You can be looking right at them and not see them.

Yeah no doubt but I don’t know how well that would hold up with other cameras all thrown into a backpack while hiking around the woods. Maybe patches of fleece glued to it would be more durable and just as effective.
