Thanks! No it’s just hidden under the crows nest. It’s just a slight lean against the wall. It has the ewo ultralight step in the bottom.

That's waaay more room than the Tethrd ONE sticks for sure...
Thanks.... I may or may not be working on an idea for a standoff but was curious as to general measurements and only tethrd has it in a pic on their website...having never bought or held a climbing stick before I have no idea whats actually comfortable...distance from the tree-wiseYes, the EWO standoff offers way more distance from the tree than the Tethrd ONE stick.
I keep seeing folks trying to make that Tethrd stick even lighter and shorter….sketches me out…as well, a Tethrd ONE stick offers barely more purchase than a 2TC foot loop. lol.
My RDA one stick has the lookout bottom step for more foot space. On top is a double step.
I like a separate larger platform that I can turn on.

Yes. That is what I use. Like it better than ewo with flat scout. Makes a solid platform for feet.Anyone using the the JX3 stick/platform combo to one stick? It's 3.47 lbs and pretty wide.
Where can I get more info on these meetups? On these guys "pages"?Have you newer guys seen the user map? @Alaska at Heart and @Mossy-Back ? There's usually meet ups come spring time, so be on the lookout for that. Great, great way to try gear, and meet some great people. ( I might just be heading up the MI meet up this year. It'll be a disaster with my organizational and people skills )
There's a whole subforum for them, 4th or 5th from the top. I'm probably not the best guy for the job but I plan on doing the organizing for a Michigan meet up this year, if you happen to be in this areaWhere can I get more info on these meetups? On these guys "pages"?
I'm in central Indiana, so depending on what part of MI I might make that trip. Thank you! There's a whole subforum for them, 4th or 5th from the top. I'm probably not the best guy for the job but I plan on doing the organizing for a Michigan meet up this year, if you happen to be in this area
So the difference between the Pursuit Gen 1 and V2 is both size and more heavy duty design.....which obviously adds weight? Please supply feedback when you get some time with the Pursuit. I've been to their website a few times.
Near the end of the '23 season, I bought a set of 20" Beast sticks and noticed they had stick attached platforms on their website as well. While I really like my EDP platform, I think this idea has merit.....especially since I got an OCB for a DIY ring of steps I am going to try out. Whether that actually reduces bulk or not remains to be seen, but I envision putting the Beast Raptor on the top of the top stick and using the ROS to provide more bandwidth. Have you tried it uet OP?I'd be using it on my top Muddy Pro. I could add a ROS later if I feel I need it. Mainly looking to have less stuff to carry and set up.
I did the one-sticking and rappel thing with the U.P. and the Pursuit for about half the season. It worked well, but just not for me. I had no issues with the U.P. and it was quite comfortable, but decided I'd go back to 3 sticks and a platform. I picked up a Seeker platform and I like it better than the EDP. I ended up selling the U.P., Pursuit, and the EDP.Near the end of the '23 season, I bought a set of 20" Beast sticks and noticed they had stick attached platforms on their website as well. I'm not interested in one stick climbing at this point, but was considering a Beast Gear platform for the top stick. Did you try that approach? Also, what do you like about the Seeker over the EDP? At some point I'll probably get a set of Tethrd One sticks but for now I've got my Hawk minis and Muddy Pros. I've got a set of 3 steps that I need to get an OCB strap for and will try those as well.
