If you guys have time I just finished a great podcast today. Clay Newcomb - episode #91 history of racism & African American hunting culture w/ Jonathan Wilkins........... Clay has a great podcast in general, but this was solid.

Thanks for recommending this. I listened to it. Loved it. And just ordered the book they discussed. It's a tough topic but it's good to hear about the culture of hunting within my community. All too often people are flabbergasted when they find out that I hunt, and it gets old quick.

I picked it up as well, dirt cheap on Amazon. It’s real easy to only see things from your own point of view & accept it as fact & never consider anything else.

That is a big big problem these days. Any discussion gets so much more productive if people just would try to see things from the other side.

Southern Ground Hunting has a series called local legends, all local hunter that get it done on public ground. Episode 87 with Bobby Worthington is must listen they have already turned it into a 3 part series to cover everything he has to tell them. Truth from the stand has some good one's as well especially the one with Dan Infalt.

If you're hunting in the south then there are no better podcasts than Southern Ground Hunting and Southern Outdoorsmen. It's a different kind of hunting down here and both of these do a good job covering it.

Those Bobby Worthington episodes are excellent. He just makes everything seem so simple. Lots of "how didn't I think of that" moments. Just finished listening to his 3rd episode on "persistence" and re-downloaded all 3 to listen again
