Double Steps Fleece Dump Pouch

You are sinking fast and a rent-a-wife doesn't not negate hard evidence. Now the nickname Nuttbuster is making a whole lot more sense ;lol
Rent-a-wife? Brother, I wish she was rented. Rental contracts have a way of expiring. I've been informed the contract I signed has no such provisions.

How many steps do you have in the bag? Would it hold 9-10 steps?
I have 8 to climb on, and 5 as a ROS. I have room for a couple more.

The pouch is saddle cloth, so it's super quiet but sturdier than fleece. It fits in my little badlands silent reaper nicely, and makes climbing with squirrel steps super nice.

Nice. I use a small sling style pack to carry my steps now. But its kinda bulky, loud, and barely holds my steps without feeling like the zipper is going to bust. Going to get one of these!

X10 on the Dano Items. I think Im on order 4 or 5 from EWO and its all been great stuff. I have 4 of the fleece pouches on 2 saddles and numerous other items. They have allowed this Newb to get my system organized and functional.. For me at least. As my saddle hunting evolves Im sure my orders will continue. Thanks again @DanO.... Victor

I got my fleece pouch last week and just like all the other items I've gotten from Dan0...zero complaints.

I find just the opposite. Saddle cloth to me tears and rips far easier. Fleece wears like iron it is really tough to tear - I am talking the polar heavy weight fleece here). Yep it picks up burrs and stickers at time. Classic example: I have no problem sitting in a fleece saddle - you wouldn't catch me doing it in saddlecloth.

But for this application both work

The big thing for me is that fleece stretches and saddle cloth doesn't. 6lbs of knobby stepsin a lightweight fleece bag seems like it might be less than ideal, but I love both fabrics, and I would imagine Dano will probably offer both options.

Dave thanks for posting!

DaniO thanks for yet another great product and more terrific service. These are everything Dave described them to be !

The amazon dump pouch i use is difficult to stuff 36’ of htp rope with a fig8, kong triangle, and safeguard. Does anyone stuff a lot of ft of htp in these fleece pouches?

I do 40ft of 9mm HTP.

I have the silent reaper and putting 10 SS in the main compartment takes up most of the space.

Do you pack yours in like that and just take it out at the tree? I’m using a bag squirrels made and toying with using the bottom bedroll straps.

What style should I get for my Flex saddle? I dont plan on removing it but dont want it flopping. I would like to connect it to the top portion of the molle webbing on the flex. Im looking to reduce a little weight from the amazon pouches.
