Name is Kyle.
Born and raised south Louisiana went to LSU. Started work in selling/servicing equipment in heavy industry 15 years ago. Started fishing before I could walk, deer hunting when I was 12.
Lived in Louisiana, Birmingham, Tampa, back to La, and now north of Houston Tx.
I’m a millennial with a good work ethic and manage money reasonably well, and I can’t help my boomer dad with obscure features of tech and interwebs. You could say I’m a genX er trapped in a millennial body.
I’ve killed a bunch of deer, in several states. I think climbing trees without high odds of having deer under me is a senseless use of time. I walk until I find the good stuff. I’ve been blessed to be able to travel throughout country to find the good stuff, so my methods tend to reflect that.
I do woodworking, some metalwork and fabrication. I spearfish and lobster. I fish a bunch, but lately don’t really enjoy as much it unless I’m loading the freezer.
I’m soon to be married and first bambino due in April. It was planned , though I see how the timing would give folks doubts.
Started a new job last year that’s basically the same job, but without direct account responsibilities. This means when I’m not working on valves or visiting with a customer, I can do the rest of my job from anywhere on the planet.
I chose a slight reduction in money for freedom. This has been both a blessing and a curse staring down a chit economy and rate increases. But, I still feel good about it.
I’m too direct, I can’t stand silly conversation until the work is done. I am about as disagreeable a person you’ll ever meet. But I care about folks, value service to my friends families and coworkers, and generally try to do right by people. Sometimes they just don’t know I’m looking out for their own good.
Saints fan LSU fan Tampa Bay lightning fan houston astros fan.
Have a boat and a 4x4 truck. But I wear loafers sometimes.
Life is good, and I’m a lucky fella.
