got back to my spot ill have this year across the lake to try & take the buck I got on cam last year & started to get more brush removed & im up to 50 yards length x10/15 yards wide...also a pick of the tree he was by in my vid & the rub he made on it as well..i started late last year cleaning when I shouldn't have and still got him on the cam so ill stop about mid August cleaning up and see where im at then.....as I said before I never really tried to shoot a deer so maybe if I make the effort now I can get it done...BINGO DINGO!!!!!!

got this doe on cam standing in my mock scrape with no scent I made yesterday then she walks over and sniffs at a watering hole im making as well...…….still haven't fixed the internal battery in my cams to hold correct date but it looks as though she must have been there at first light this morning since its still recording in black & white...….BINGO DINGO!!!!!!!

started prepping the Benelli for this years camo job...…….this way I get plenty of dry time beforehand this season.

the Benelli is done & just needs set out every day im home until season & she will be ready to ROCK SOCKS...…..the paint job doesnt look as impressive in the pics as last years BUT in person I feel its even better!!!!!!!

39 yard shot with the Sheridan air rifle straight out the back garage door down to the lake by the pick nick table in first pic...pic is from garage door where I shot from...…..caught the ground hog right in the side under his upper arm as he sat on his back legs and he started spinning & by the time he went for cover back under the rail road logs my dog was down the hill & on him...…..GAME OVER!!!!!!!!!

she had one cornered in a hole this morning I had to call her off of but could hear the ground hog in the hole chirping at her...…..brought her in for a bit......2 minutes after I let her back out shes going nuts again but this time she has chased the ground hog under a 10 ft aluminum boat right by the lake.....I get the boat side lifted & she launches in & fights with it & gets her ear bit before it was all over BUT we got it handled...…..#3 down......BINESS!!!

went outside few minutes ago & I can hear Super Girl has something bayed up on the ground and is working it...………..get down to the small group of woods by the lake & shes got another ground hog cornered...…#4 gone…..BANG BANG!!!!!

I come out into the garage and watch my dog take two steps & lock up looking down the hill towards the pick nick table...….I walk to look & see nothing but then send her anyway because she doesn't miss when she sees something....she takes off & gets down by the pick nick table she starts around it and the rail road logs & then the chase is on & I think shes on a squirrel that wouldn't run under the railroad logs BUT its another ground hog...….this time she chases this one under HER boat and bays it up...….#5 gone...…...BANG BANG!!

decided I was gonna need a bow press to further my progress with my own bow..…….looked at the fingers & made my own dimensions based on viewing others...……...took some 1/2 inch aluminum plate & got one roughed in to make sure I could do it...……….now I just need three more & the HARD part is over...…then on to make an actual bow press…...BINESS!!!!!!
