I've been waiting patiently for almost 6 months to avail so I finally contacted NG. Their response was that they currently have them on order for two retailers and they will only be in stock on the website if the factory makes more than the two retailers ordered, and they have no ETA. I checked with both retailers and one of them alledgedly had exactly one in stock in my size. She said it's only $50 so I'm really hoping it's the right one. Just putting this info out therein case there's anybody else out there looking for this hoodie, don't expect it on the website any time soon.
I asked the same question last
Week just didnt get the retailers name cuase if u have it in buying one

I always thought that a wool hoody/poncho would work best for saddle hunting. Wool is water resistant, retains heat, is odor free..

Been looking for the same thing, regardless of whether it’s saddle-focused. The features I want are:
1. Very quiet
2. Light absorbing (like fleece or wool)
3. Warm
4. Good camo (Sitka or FL patterns, not mimicry camo)
5. Quarter-zip
6. Kangaroo pocket
7. Articulated hood
8. Stretchy fabric
9. Wind-resistant (at least)
10. Tapered sleeves

A Kuiu Peloton 240 ticks a lot of these boxes.

The Banded Apalaycha (not spelled right) is a lot like the sitka Dakota but a little lighter weight and more quieter material. Cheaper option that has promise.

How quiet are they? Do they have the trashbag noise like some of the old windproof stuff?
I just posted a medium so I could buy a large

My winterceptor fleece doesnt sound like a trash bag at all. In fact it hardly has any noise at all. Dont have the hoody that was mentioned so cant speak to that but to say all natural gear windproof stuff sounds like a trash bag is just not accurate at all.

I’ve owned all the same as u and mine had the hard crinkle sound. It’s never bothered me or my hunting. So I guess ywe’ll ur right trash bag may be the wrong description of sound but mine have always had a sound

Seems odd to me that yours obviously are making noticeable sound. How long have you had it? Mine are getting some age to them so I wonder if the materials changed.

My hoodie is new and has that stiff crinkle sound. Most of what I wore was new so I assume that’s what it is. If your has miles on it I bet it’s just softened or production is different now vs then. For the money though nat gear can’t be beat

For cold windy weather, it is awesome. Price is hard to beat too.

Well it's just about hoodie season. Anybody have any experience with this one? Windproof, sherpa lined, 4-way strech and quarter zip. Sounds too good to be true and I can't find a review on it.

Looks amazing! I’ve found Nomad’s gear to be super hit-or-miss. I’ve literally bought over $3k of their stuff (mostly on a 50% off sale, so $5k+ of retail value), and I’ve returned all but just a few things because it wasn’t good quality. BUT, the few items I’ve kept are fantastic, including the Whitetail Harvester jacket, which is my go-to winter coat. It has the same wind proof feature and Sherpa lining, and they’re awesome. I’m hoping this is in line with that jacket…
