There’s a suburban (whatever GMC calls theirs), a Tacoma, an F150 and Chevy Traverse sitting in my yard. All 4x4 except the Traverse. The F150 gets 22.5 MPG and has WAY more room and comfort that anything else AND has more cargo room in the bed and a hard bed cover.
The Tacoma is my killing machine that will get me to and from anywhere.
The suburban is know as the “Survey Buggy”. I hate it, but it serves it’s purpose well.
The Traverse has a lot of room behind the back captains chairs and drives good, but I’m not small and the dash digs into my right knee. The Tacoma is more comfortable to drive for me.
Drive whatever you want, but if you don’t have a truck you probably shoot a crossbow,
P.S. I have 3 boats, a camper and anywhere from 4-6 trailers in my yard at any given time so there’ll never NOT be a truck around. My son has 2 F150’s and a Dodge 5500…..must be genetic, lol.
