Is there a backpack out that makes carrying sticks easier

I use factory length Lone Wolf sticks, they pack nicely on my Sitka ascent pack. Might be a little awkward empty but I always carry rain gear and an extra warmth layer so no problem there.

I have carried everything from a set of lone Wolf of sticks to stick ladders on my badlands 2200. It’s a lot of pack to just carry sticks. I have a smaller pack by field line that has a rifle/ bow boot that hangs from the bottom. I put the sticks in the boot and use compression straps on pack.

I just picked up a newer badlands superday used off archery talk. It has 3 compression straps on back for rifle and bow carry. I think it will do the trick. I will update it when I get my hands on it for some testing.

Ive got one, its an awesome pack. Should work great for carrying sticks.

The Eberlestock X2 is another option. It has wings that fold out and make a nice place to stash sticks. I'll see if I have any pics.

Depends on too many factors to answer really...budget probably first. Are we talking 2 hour hikes or 15 minutes up a tram road? Care about confort or willing to pack them kinda silly strapped on the back? Packing clothes and gadgets, or just sticks? Want to pack quarters too? Need camo? Need a quiet fabric? Want to minimize profile for busting brush?

The superday has the same outside straps as the 2200 but is lighter and smaller in size.

I have some places with a hour walk. That’s as long as you don’t stop for break anywhere.

I would go batwing design if you are fairly lightweight, load shelf if you pack some stuff in. That said I cant imagine owning one pack with the varied weather and terrain I hunt. What works opening week after work for a 3 hour sit in 78 degree weather doesnt work too good all day 25 degree rut sits.

I feel you. I have 2 other packs. My main pack is a small just under 800 cubic inches of space. I have used it for half and day and more sits though. It bare minimum pack. And then I have another pack for all day sits. About the same as the pack I just bought but it doesn’t have as much compression straps.

I use badlands monster fanny pack for close to the truck hunts and scouting and just carry my sticks. For my deeper hunts I use my badlands 2200. Can strap sticks to it very comfortably and if I kill an animal I pack out the meat and strap sticks to the outside.

Do you have the bow carrier for that and if you do does the bow contact the sticks?
Yup, bow carrier is in the middle (elastic straps) with the cam strap off the bottom. Never had a problem with contact.

I really like the trailblazer. I can also fit 6 wild edge steps, kestrel, and a predator platform inside.

Sweet thats plenty of space for early season. I pulled the trigger before you answered, figured if there was contact the predator could go where the bows supposed to go lol. They also had the Pursuit but that ones almost 2lbs heavier and only 200 cu ins bigger.
