Kestrel Users Aero Hunter needs some input

Glad I saw this. I'm 6', 175, and wear a 32 to 34 depending on the pants. I was considering a size 1 kestrel, but based on everyone's comments, it looks like I should consider a size 2.

I was going to post a question about size, but this may have helped me determine what size I order. I'm 6'1" ,185#, with approx 34" waist. I almost ordered a size 1., but was concerned about heavier clothing. After reading this, and seeing some guys my size either are happy with a size 2,or wish they got a 2. So it sounds like I should order a size 2. If you guys think I'm off on getting a size 2 instead of a 1, please let me know. Thank you!
Go with a size 2. I’m 5’ 11”, 185 lbs, 34” waist. I had a size 1 and exchanged it for a size 2 and I’m very happy that I did. Much more comfortable.

27.75 to 28....changes every time I try it! My wife gave me some interesting looks when she caught me measuring (my butt make this saddle look small?) I have a size 2, and am very happy with the fit. I like the position of the linesman connection too.

I could see the linesmans loops being tough to get to if wearing heavy winter clothes. I wore scent lock savanna suit about all season. If it got really cold I threw on a hoody and a knit cap.

Well I only had a metric tape. 67 cm = 26.378”. That’s 38 waist short stocky 5’9”and 210lb. The size 1 fit good but the size 2 is better. A lot better.

Now you guys have me worried I ordered a size 1 and it's on its way but now I'm wondering if I should have ordered a size 2. I'm 6' size 34 jeans, guess I will see in a few days.

If its not comfortable for you I’m pretty sure they will let you swap out for a 2. No worries.

I'm 6'3" 220lbs with a 36" waist. My seam to seam was 24.5" and the size 2 Kestrel is comfortable for me.

25" for me. 35" waist. 180# and 5'7". I don't really understand why height would be a factor. Not everyone's proportions are equal, meaning that not everyone that is the same given height will have the same torso length, leg length, etc.
I had a medium Trophy Line with stock bridge and it was very uncomfortable.
I now own a size 1 Kestrel and it seems perfect, but I've never tried a size 2 for comparison.
For you guys that think the Kestrel's lineman's loops are too far back, would putting another loop on the saddle loop help? A stitched bury loop of Amsteel or webbing loop would allow the saddle loop to be easier to hook into.

Maybe. You never know for sure until you try it.

I’m 6’2 ,200lb,34 waist ,tried a size 1 before I purchased a size 2.2 seems good so far . For comparison I previously used a large trophy line saddle and the kestrel seems to have less hip pinch
