Kind Of A Lopsided Comparison "Saddle vs Stand a real world mobile comparison"

....cue...Lil’ Beast, the brand new saddle hunting platform from The Hunting Beast!

What are the chances Dan hits it out of the park with his saddle platform and it does even better than his stand.

I know hard core Beastie Boys are going to get the stand they've waited years for....but I could see a more novel saddle platform from him. There are quite a few platforms out now though.

Looking forward to Dave doing the saddle/stand comparison video with Dan. Big thanks to him for stepping up and offering to give his input. Will be great to have some experienced saddle input to put all the misconceptions to rest. Maybe he'll even convert Dan into a saddle hunter.

out of all the people on here i thought for sure you where the only one who reconise my mindless babble .no point at all.what compells you to respond
Almost 16,000 members. He's not the only one.
It takes a couple read overs, but your points are usually found.
Keep on keeping on..

Seriously? Things havent changed much on here I see.

Some of you need to go out and get some fresh air. Outside a few familiar faces, I'll bet I have more hang time on a ROS then most of you put together. I suppose you missed the part I still use Jim Stepps for presets.... Or that I carry a strap of steps with me for large trees. just because I dont prefer something does NOT mean I cant, won't, or havent used it. Truth is that the same people that so often like to bring my name up and say what I do,dont ir cant do, don't even know me.

I use whatever tool is apprpriate to get the job done. last year alone I killed one buck with a ghillie on ground, shot one doe from a stand, and two bucks and a doe from a saddle.

Truth is I have the knowledge, gear and ability to kill, and have killed, deer from stands, ladders, box blinds, ROS, fleece saddle, sit drag, commercial sadle and standing in a fork of a tree. While I have definite preferences and opinions on what works best, gathered over 45 years of bowhunting in well over a doz states, I AM NOT LIMITED by gear.... I have and can use most all of it at will.

For those that will watch the video with an open mind and eagerness to pick up some tips and tricks, hopefully we will present you with some good info.

For those that want to further entrench thier hard headed, my way is the only way, or my saddle is better than your saddle attitudes.... Well I'm sure you will.

you walk away eith what you search for.

It's good to see you back @DaveT1963. I just went back through the thread to see if I missed something but, it looks like everything said about you was complimentary because people were relieved to see that someone with your experience was doing a video with Dan. The guy he used in his last video didn't have near your experience. It looks like people were talking about you as a positive representative of saddle hunting.

its hard to tell the tone of the text sometimes... like .what do you mean ........its beutiful or what do you mean its beutiful....i sound like a jerk when i pillow talk

Somebody help me and tell me what a guy with less than 2000 subscrbers on his channel has too ad to a video with Dan the Man Infalt in it? I just watched his most recent video of him throwing old treestwnds around and had to chuckle. Everybody trying to be a youtube celebrity lol maybe I'm missing something but dan he ain't. Maybe get EBERHART on there with Dan.

IMO, You don't need to be a YouTube "Influencer" to know what you're doing. When it comes to saddle hunting, Dave knows what he's doing.

It's been said up above numerous times but I'll repeat it anyway. The saddle hunter in Dan's video was a self-described "rookie". That makes it difficult to compare the effectiveness of set up strategies. Its also been pointed above that, at the end of the day, its likely that these guys will show us that either means is effective and it's just up to each person's individual need which would work better for them. I personally don't see the need for the drama here.

I guess the rest of us are more concerned with whether someone knows how to hunt and how to effectively use a saddle - not whether they're successful youtube entrepreneurs.
