I have the climb right pads on em. They came like that so I don't have any experience with any other pads but I really like them... quite and comfortable. I cut the velcro strap off and put some 1.5" straps and buckles on them.

Another dinosaur here like Huck, these are very intriguing for sure and flinging makes it look so cool and hip. I may be in.

Well I don’t feel so bad about not buying them now, I’ll get to see them first hand if scoutman jumps on board.

I would love to use spurs 100% of the time. They are only legal for me .01% of the time. Lol. I picked up 30 acres of private land. Lol

I could use spurs on 30 percent of my hunts. But in some of those places I have presets with bolts. So really it would be 15 percent If if they were $300 maybe it would be worthwhile They sure are tempting.

So, I have a question that I could easily look up but what is the honest long term durability of light weight carbon fiber vs a good chunk of aluminum? Light weight is cool but I am a diehard buy it once kind of guy. I would substitute weight for longevity for my current uses. I already own climb rights.

metal trumps carbon fiber, no question. But these are tough. Arborists aren't easy on their gear

I wonder if you could climb enough trees in 20 years of deer hunting to wear them out.

Being that they are made for professional tree trimming, I’d say they should last a lifetime for hunting.

He doesn’t have carbon

We didn’t have Carbon Fiber. I am not sure about spurs but they make fighter jet cockpits and high end boats. That’s two things I’m sure of that will get more wear than spurs. It’s the best lightweight material you can use but the most expensive. Look how long fiberglass lasts.
