That’s cut out of solid aluminum, that’s holding up is the least of my worries. And the coating is not gonna last that’s for sure. I’m looking forward to them again. Lol

Andre and Cody were way higher on the weights on xop as well so this doesnt suprise me. I didnt even consider this one after buying the xop vanish and sticks..the quality was not nearly as good as they made it out to be. Lone wolf was way better. I sold all the xop after about a week of messing with it. I think they may have lost their roots if you know what i mean. There will always be fan boys that praise their products though.

H_A if everyone would be honest, there’s a lot of parts of the design to like.
Doesn't sound like they were completely honest what with the weights being off by about 33% and all. They were marketed as the next big thing for mobile hunters, but when their weights are actually a bit more than sticks already out there, and in all reality the bulk is still there, I'm in the "swing and a miss" camp. Couple that with the price tag and I have got to say pass.

Also who cares if it’s good if you infringed someone’s patent knowingly

So a few like and a few don't. Price point seems awfully high for what you're getting though.
Between the beast sticks and these, they are a small fortune! I went with these due to the stacking method. Weight is not a major concern of mine. I like the beast sticks and had them in the cart last go around but I just do not like how sticks traditionally stacked.

Having handled beast sticks I can see where the money goes. After reading initial reviews of the LWCG sticks i'm a little skeptical they put all of their money into production and quality control.

One thing I've grown to like with the LWCG sticks (I have the mini's) is the top step, stick and tree bracket are flush at the top giving lots of area for the top step. I personally do not need a double step the way these are.

Just to summarize: So the consensus is that LWCG sticks is not the living up to the billing as promised and Beast Sticks are top quality and will last forever?

Depends on who you listen to. While I do have skin in this game as an outsider, one thing no one has mentioned is that most of the bad press is coming from Hunting Beast - they "might" be a little biased.

Cody mentioned this a few time in videos at the ATA show. He said they worked on extending the step a little which may help getting both feet on the stick. Glad to hear that's working out for some people.

I am a member of both forums....is just being a member of a forum considered having skin in the game? I believe a lot of people on here are a member of both..i guess we are all biased then? I own beast sticks and like them. I own lone wolf products and like them....i owned xop products from when cody was running it and hated the product. They completely lied about the weight and now i am hearing the same thing about their new product...not really surprised....i will say beast sticks are exactly what was advertised. Only complaint about them are how sharp the edges are.

Sorry, should have clarified. I sell similar products so not pointing the finger at anyone and probably shouldn't post about it. I'm also a member on both forums. Just saying if Ford came out with a new truck, there would be bashing on the Chevy forums for example. I have found this forum can be unbiased in its review of products which is a good thing.

Understood but that comparison would only hold true if this was a lwcg forum...which isnt nor a beast forum...with that said i understand what you mean. I would agree if people are just speaking with zero experience of their products. I do not have lwcg and can only speak on the beast sticks. I have owned other products that cody and andre were involved with recently (xop) which i was not happy with. Which is why my comment about the weight of their new sticks do not surprise me.

Like others mentioned....we all have lots of options now which is a great thing for us hunters.

To be fair I monitor many sites and the negative comments about LWCG are not consistently coming from Beast members. I would hope that people here would understand between SaddleHunter and the Hunting Beast we have a huge amount of guys with a ton of experience testing just about every hunting product on the market. I cannot stress how valuable that is to us. Do not ruin that and let’s not judge those who are honest about their assessment as biased because that’s just not fair. One pattern I see is there are a lot of guys that jump back and forth between the sites. I appreciate comments from everyone. Just because I don’t agree with some doesn’t make them wrong. Everybody has a right to their opinion.
