Three.... More....Weeks.... AGHHGH

In todays day of 2 day shipping and near instant gratification, waiting on my Mantis/predator, and WE steps, brutal....

And yes, I knew full well it would be a while before I got it, not railing at anyone, but Amazon has spoiled me :)
 
Tethrd is getting their customer service together. Ordered an Areo kestrel on 10 Dec with an estimated delivery date of 11 Jan. I had to contact Areo's customer service today. They are now saying maybe by 31 Jan. That's over 7 weeks for an already established company to ship a product. I should of ordered a Tethrd Mantis!

They got hit hard this year with the increase of saddles plus they had to stop production I believe for forest fires. I ordered my Kestrel Dec 4th and got it on Friday.
 
Got the rest of my October notification today. The recliner and micro adjusters.

Not complaining just saying Tethrd has really done a hell of a job for a first year company. Their order to ship time is now better than an already established company.

I did send one to Ernie with a PM, but still very disappointed I was very excited about taking it on a pig hunt next week and now it looks as if that isn't going to happen.

I got an email saying my order is complete, now the impatient wait for the package to show up on my doorstep. I'm super excited about this, can't wait to what opportunities this opens up.
 
I can’t wait for that email! I have half of mine and am soooo excited about using it once it gets here- if it doesn’t make it in time for the season, that’s fine- I’m gonna be hanging in a tree in the backyard flinging arrows at targets!

I might be wrong as I haven't seen a Mantis in person but, I think that you could still hunt from that saddle. You just can't use the micro adjusters and you would have to hook the leg straps up to the waist band connection. Am I right?

Correct. It would be totally fine. But it SHOULD have those sewn loops lol

Agreed, I was just letting @Chili Pepper know that he doesn't have to miss his pig hunt. If you have to send it back I don't think Ernie or Greg will care if it's slightly used. Enjoy your hunt then deal with getting it replaced.

I understand, I talked to them and they have a new one on the way. I will use this one if I don't get the new one in time. The last on sat in MN postoffice for 5 days before it was sent.
