I think the main issue at this point is communication on where they are in the shipping process. It should be really easy to put out a weekly update saying what date they are caught up to on each size and what they are expecting to get for the next week.....

They was doing that and then the updates quite coming. Maybe because the guys whining before got there saddles. I am really hoping I get a package next week.
 
FWIW I got an email from them on Thursday the 11th saying they would be completely caught up in 2 weeks....

I'm like you guys - I wanted tethrd to be successful - but there have been to many inconsistencies in what they have said versus what they do for me to keep the faith in them. If you look back at a timeline of what has been said and what has been done then tethrd really looks bad.....to the point of being kinda scary we still even have an ounce of faith in them....

And to be honest, all the hype and promo's they keep posting about their products and how great they are just doesn't sit well with me. Its kinda like they want everyone to think everything's going great when it isn't....I understand they are trying to keep the business growing but it seems shameful to me they are trying to get more orders when they can't even fill orders from back in June...
 
I think as soon as they do get caught up (and I’m sure nobody wants to get caught up as much as they do) it’ll all be forgotten.

It really sounds like this is coming down to a manufacturing issue. I still fully believe in Tethrd.

Getting mad at Tethrd is like getting mad at a waitress for an undercooked meal. It's the cooks fault not the person that served it.

At the core they are hunters trying to make a positive impact in a niche style of hunting. Nobody wants to get caught up more than they do. It will be worth it! They set out on a mission to get product out a long time ago but some things are out of their control. I'm sure they are doing their best.

We are lucky Tethrd decided to make such an awesome product. 2018 is a great year to be alive. For guys just getting into saddle hunting (like me) we are very lucky to have such great options.

Hang in there guys!
 
Ok, a big DAH! Here. It’s been well established in many if not all circles that I’m an idiot. That has been confirmed yet again.
I was totally looking for a package on my doorstep. Nothing Friday nothing Saturday.
I get home from church today and I think to myself “I wonder if my wife picked up the mail from the mailbox on Friday or Saturday as she was off work and usually gets it so I don’t look”.
So I go to the mailbox and it’s STUFFED! Amongst all the other mail there are two packages from Tethrd!!!
All my gear has been here since??? Did it come Friday? Did it come Saturday?
It’s here!!! Looks like great gear. Thanks Tethrd for the swag as well. I must have done something right.

I know it’s been said a few times on this thread; this is a brand new startup company by fellas who are as excited about saddle hunting as we are.

Whole different world than big box manufacturers, marketers, etc etc etc. all the boring and predictable stuff - so I’ll compare with my old music career;

At first it was passion passion passion and huge drive, which drove me to the success that culminated in my record deal - which was also great (and a 7 million dollar deal in 1989 was pretty rare).

Those first shows and recordings blow away the slick and polish that the record company, marketers, test marketers, A&R guys, promoters, radio guys kept pushing...u feel me?

With Tethrd we get the best of both worlds / Passion and the expectation of the best / so that cost ended up being some time. When we work with a startup we get to be part of the passion. But the cost is the unpredictable things that normally happen with that.

I remember when Muddy was a passionate start up. Great product, great manufacturing, great group of guys - with glitches and all. Got even better with time. Then went corporate. I haven’t gotten a Muddy since. Nothing against em but I lost the personal passionate stuff they had. Saw the corners being cut, etc. It was just another stand.

I know this is lengthy and ADD, Bc that is me, but my money is happily with Tethrd and I’m thrilled to be part of the beginning of it.

It takes time to get a company going. When you are not controlling the manufacturing process, your more of a broker or distributor. You are at beg and whim of the manufacturer. I like the mantis and Predator and am excited to get my bags and other assecories.
 
With people already aggravated, going this long without an update of some sort was probably not the best thing to do. Communication is key and honesty is the best policy. Even if you cant fill a single order for the next two weeks just own it and be honest about it. The saddle market is to small to burn ANY bridge. Also, going around advertising with very influential people in the hunting industry is probably not a good idea when you’re three months behind on orders.
 
You’re going to love it when you get it. Pretty sweet gear. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next. The Mantis is awesome and the Preditor platform, that’s just so stinking sweet. I almost want to get a second one and set one on each side of the tree. Almost.

Mine was stuffed in my neighbors mailbox for 2 days while they were out camping! Mailman’s fault.

I really just dont understand how their manufacturer cant tell them what they are going to have done by the end of every week....It should be pretty cut and dry at this point how many they can make in a day and of what size. Maybe I'm just making that sound way easier than it really is...I dunno
