Just thought I’d share. Removed the original rope. Camo them up and attach Amsteel 1/4”. Good to go!!

Agreed. Did you tie it in a knot in the stick? does it crush bad in the cam cleat?I'm still concerned with the amsteel in the cam cleat. Let us know how it works out.
I like it. Nice job.

If you sell them, let me know. I’d be interested in buying them!Do your sticks have the rubber coating (bed liner spray) on them or are they the bare alluminum? If coated, how is the paint holding up? I have considered painting mine because I think the black stands out way to much but trying to decide wether to strip the rubber off or paint over them or stealth strip them. I may add fixed steps and drill holes in the posts to lighten them up a bit, and I may just sell them to fund or build something lighter and a bit longer.

Sorry I just seen this. Trackers answer is what I mean by is it crushing bad. I am worried about the know slipping form inside the stick and you not seeing it (because it’s inside the stick)

No sure what you mean by “crushing it bad” yet the cam will grip the rope properly if seated deep inside the cam all the way
