Yeah I'm about 40 miles north of Evansville, small town of Petersburg. Hunt a lot of old coal mine ground which makes the saddle a game changer.I had to google it too, down by Evansville
Thanks redsquirrel. Really enjoy your website, very helpful. Been using climber for years plus hang ons but a saddle makes so much sense. I have some work to do but all the info found here helps so much, Thank You.Welcome!

It's great to see what others are doing and equipment they are using. I have rarely bought something and used it as is. I love all the modifying of equipment as much as I love being in the woods. Seeing my son use the saddle this year for the first time has convinced me it's the way to go. Hope I can contribute info as I get deeper involved in the saddle system.Thank you! I know there is a lot of information, but take your time and dial in your system. Remember you don’t have to try everything you see on here. You just need to find something that works for you!
Ordered a kestrel Sunday, ships out March 5th #1182. Have you received yours? Gonna be a real busy spring, the older I get the more there is to do. RThere's definitely a wealth of hunting knowledge here. Any plans to get a saddle for next season?

Oh great lol. My son has the sit drag setup so I'll start out with it real soon. I got one of the xop seats before the price hike but think I'm gonna wait to see the new platforms everyone is teasing us with. Pretty much set on getting some wild edge stepps to go with my setup. Not enough hours in the day.Yeah I know what you mean. I got mine about 2 weeks ago. Glad i have all summer to work on shooting from the saddle. It's not as easy as these guys make it look
I grew up in them spoils, when the coal mine shut down it was the oldest surface mine in the world. Can't jump them like I used to lol. They hold all the game and monster morel mushrooms also. There hard to hunt but this saddle stuff will be a game changer.I have only on two out of state hunts in my life so for .I been to Ohio and Indiana . Still learning the saddle thing but it is the way to go in the coal reclaimed strip mines of Indiana. Good luck with your hunting and saddle setup.Love the state of Indiana.
