Welcome from Northern Virginia. Generally a welcome post comes with a bit of introduction. Tell us a bit about you.

Welcome to the site.

Hope this helps:

Welcome from New England.

Backpacks are highly personal and depend on your build and your needs.

Welcome.

Just got MR Treehouse 20. Haven't decided if I even keep it. Hard to find a backpack that would be small and extremely quiet and small enough not to become an obstruction on the saddle. Have been using some Eberlestock rifle carrier that is way too big. Rifle compartment is nice to dump stuff into when at height though.

Welcome from Missouri. Tried multiple packs and found the Eberlestock X2 to be the most versatile and easiest to use!

Welcome from New Hampshire. A good backpack will be defined by how you hunt so it becomes very specific to the person. There is a ton of great information on here and a great search feature. There is an epic chronical on saddle hunting packs that is a good place to start. Start at the end as that is where the most current information will be. There are ton of smaller more directed threads regarding a specific backpack or packs for a specific need/hunt (meat hauler/minimalistic/large volume/low drag.....). Once you dig around there you will probably have more specific questions so you can focus your question. I use a Mystery Ranch Treehouse 38.
