It's definitely a cool idea. I'd be most worried about catching those loops on branches and logs at the base of the tree. They have new videos on YouTube. Looks pretty easy

Hello everyone.
We are glad you are excited about the products. We have been hunting out of saddles for many years. It is less popular for some reason in Canada but we strongly believe it is the best method of hunting out of a tree. More tutorial videos are will be coming soon. We are continuing to improve on the design and functionality to make the Tree Ladder and Tree Sling as safe and user friendly as possible. We greatly appreciate the suggestions such as how to make the ladder more rigid.
Can you show some pictures of the ladder system all packed up. I'd like to see how compact it really is.First climb, i went slow 10 minutes. No major issues. Getting your foot in the loops can be a challenge similar to an aider. The loops do have a little memory so i think you could bend them on the way up. The decent had one problem, i couldnt release the buckle as my weight was pulling down on both buckles the one i was standing on and the one above i was trying to release. I think an Over center buckle will cure this. Or i need to change my strap angle. I had the strap high and at an angle down. Maybe perpendicular is the way to go.
Its 8.4 pounds for 20 feet. Packs up really nice, neat and compact. Set up is very quiet. Climbing is very safe and stable (i used my linesman). If you compare to other non aider methods - Stepps would be 10 at 10 lbs
- 3 sticks would bulkier and same weight or more. I wasn’t a fan of the black webbing with red pin stripes. I think once you got good you could lift the first section up to hide it from a deers line of site.

I’m not going to count them out yet. It’s a first run and feed back will happen. In the mean time it’s a quiet way to climb trees without damage.
I haven’t ordered a saddle.
The prices are in Canadian dollars. It will be less with the greenback.
I agree the videos should have had safety equipment.
I’m curious to see opinions once the gear has been used and become more familiar.
