Saddle success 2015

Did my first all day sit with my diy saddle on Nov 15. Only time I climbed down was to gut a 1.5yr old buck I shot. Saddle worked well, but several times I pulled up the gun (synthetic stock) I heard the clunk of a carabiner hitting it. Not a sound you want when trying to shoot a deer.

Congrats!

Get some camo form or stealth strips on those carabiners and you should be good to go.

Rccordrey you are a buck murderin' SOB. Well done.

Yeah, What he said!

Killing me not to be able to get in the saddle and hunt. Once youth season starts the 1st weekend of nov, my hunting openings are slim till the end of January. I hope to get a few days to myself for our rut at the end of December.Other than that, I'll be playing hunting guide for the kids. I do enjoy the heck out of it though! My middle son will be trying to get his 1st deer Thanksgiving week. Hope I can get him on a close shot. Other than that, I'll be living through you guys.
