Ok Guy's , since the weather has gotten better has anybody done any serious sit time in a tree to see how there working ?

I sat for 2 hours the other day and it's more comfortable than any lock on stand, but not as comfy as my Guido's web. I had to reposition about every 20 min or so, but I've got compressed discs in my back and can't sit in one position for more than a half hour in anything. Already put the web up for sale.

I watched about 4 hours of basketball in my basement. I agree it isn't as comfortable as the web, even a minimalist saddle with firm cushion, but man its light and compact.

I have sat in mine several times this year. Alone, or with rock harness, or with bow hunter harness, and with my essdub sling as a belt.
It works fine and I can sit in almost anything for a few hours. I might use it for all day sits with the essdub sling so I have a seat and a back rest

I sat in mine for 20 minutes the other day. It was very comfortable. I've spent enough hours in my trophyline to know the Sitdrag is a winner.

I've been prepping trees for last four days I've probably got 75 hours in mind since first of the year... But no long sits year
Yet.

I've always used a RC harness to prep trees. In the harness I feel 100% safe putting myself in weird outstretched positions and reaching to my limits to trim hard to reach branches. How do you feel using only the SD? Seems like it would be a bit more precarious.

Used mine several time moving and setting up sticks and never felt unsafe. But I will say I didn't have to deal with many limbs. I agree if you need to reach to cut limbs or swing off the backside of the tree the RC harness is better.

I will take the portability and ease of set up waaaayy more over comfort and my sit drag us comfortable so I don't think I have compromised much. Nothing beats that guido when it comes to comfort though
