The first time it drops down behind your knees while you are adjusting your prussik you will change your mind. I think anyone using one above ground level should add at the very minimum, a belt.I think I’m gonna leave it just bare bones. Amsteel bridge will probably be about it.

I agree with @EricS - I think a belt is VERY important. I have 5 or 6 SDs and I don't think I'll ever sell them.
Do you have some pictures you could share?I put a rigger's belt on mine. That seemed to work really well, and also with my wild Edge steps I can clip into my stepps waist-high with a carabiner like Cain does.

Sure thing, here it is. I double up using a rock climbing harness and my rigger's belt for safety. I use the Speedy Stitcher to attach the rigger's belt to the sit drag.Do you have some pictures you could share?
