Secrets out...!!!

Legal climbING spurs for public land...View attachment 2434
WOW. I've been waiting to see something like these in a reasonable price range for a long time. Good find! Courtesy of my amazon rewards I just ordered a set for free. So I'll be the guinea pig and try them out. Fingers crossed they're not junk! Not to much info on the web about them!

I was about to pull the trigger. One thing, it looks like max diameter tree is approx. 15.75". That is the only downside I see for this.

I have had an idea of something like this in my mind for ages!

I would love to see this work for bigger trees!

That links to Amazon for the belt. So same price.

A guy on archery talk created something like this a while back. It's not new but any commercially available stuff has been pricey. Looks like they are actually marketing towards hunters a bit by their description too.

I did not know that about the link through or AT. Thanks.

This would seem to be a viable way to ascend when the tree cannot be damaged.

I am looking forward to your review Red. If you like them, maybe a demo (I work in NJ in your general area (Warren).

Thanks!

Yes, if it works out we can always arrange that. I'm always willing to try new things, but they often don't work lol.

For comparison, the XOP Climber Seat does 19" at half the weight. Advancing one foot at a time looks like fun though
